Everyone loves a little recognition for a job well done, right? With the intention, time and care you put into your company’s social impact and CSR programs, you deserve to be recognized. Not only do awards feel good, they help attract and retain top talent, boost your employee volunteer program, showcase your organization’s work, get stakeholder buy in, and stay on track with company goals (Points of Light, 2023). That’s why we compiled this list of  CSR, Corporate Citizenship, and Social Impact program awards for you to apply for!

Most of the awards below are closed for 2023, but it’s never too early to start planning for 2024. Take a look below and mark your calendars for 2024 deadlines!

FAST COMPANY’S MOST INNOVATIVE COMPANIES (SOCIAL GOOD CATEGORY) 

DEADLINE: (Early-rate) August 25, 2023 

Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies recognizes organizations that are transforming industries and shaping society. With innovation more important than ever this year, Fast Company is looking forward to recognizing the organizations that are moving the world forward. (Social Good Category available). 

ONE MILLION DONORS’ AUSTRALIAN WORKPLACE GIVING AWARDS 

DEADLINE: August 31, 2023. 

The Australian Workplace Giving Awards celebrate outstanding workplace giving programs across the country. The Awards are the premier, largest independent forum for our sector, designed to celebrate the role and efforts of working Australians as they harness the power of their companies to support and build our communities. 

THE DRUM AWARDS FOR SOCIAL PURPOSE 

DEADLINE: (Extended deadline) September 6, 2023 

These awards celebrate the people and brands, making a positive contribution through responsible marketing. 

POINTS OF LIGHT’S CIVIC 50 

DEADLINE: March 2024. The 2023 survey will open in December, 2023.  

The Civic 50, an initiative of Points of Light, recognizes the 50 most community-minded companies in the nation each year as determined by an annual survey administered by True Impact. The Civic 50 honorees are selected based on the four dimensions of their community engagement and social impact programs: investment of resources, integration across business functions, institutionalization through policies and systems and impact measurement. 

FAST COMPANY’S BRANDS THAT MATTER

Fast Company’s Brands That Matter honorees don’t just recite corporate vision statements or management talking points; they have achieved relevance through cultural impact and social engagement, and their branding authentically communicates a brand’s current mission and ideals. Brands from around the world—including the largest multinational conglomerates and small-but-mighty companies—are encouraged to apply. 

ENGAGE FOR GOOD’S HALO AWARDS 

DEADLINE: Closed for 2023. 2024 applications open December 2023. View previous honorees here. 

The Halo Awards are one of North America’s highest honor for corporate social initiatives and cause marketing and showcase successful consumer engagement and employee engagement efforts. These CSR, cause marketing and corporate social impact awards focus on initiatives in which brand purpose and social impact intersect to help build a better world and the bottom line. 

2022 RACHEL’S NETWORK CATALYST AWARD 

DEADLINE: Closed for 2023. Honorees to be announced October 2023. 2024 Applications open early 2024. 

The Rachel’s Network Catalyst Award celebrates women of color who are building a healthier, safer, and more just world. Each year, it provides environmental leaders with: a $10,000 prize; networking opportunities; and national recognition within the environment, philanthropic, and women’s leadership communities. 

CONCORDIA’S P3 IMPACT AWARD 

DEADLINE: Closed for 2023. Honorees to be announced on September, 2023. 

The P3 Impact Award was created by Concordia, the University of Virginia Darden School Institute for Business in Society, and the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Global Partnerships to recognize and honor leading public-private partnerships (P3s) that improve communities and the world. 

THE US CHAMBER’S CORPORATE CITIZEN AWARDS 

DEADLINE: Closed for 2023. Honorees to be announced Nov 1-2.  

The U.S. Chamber Foundation’s Citizens Awards recognize the most innovative and impactful corporate citizenship programs from businesses, chambers, and associations of all sizes. Any business entity may nominate itself, or a third party may also nominate a business, Chamber of Commerce, or trade association.  

THE GLOBAL GOOD AWARDS

The Global Good Awards is an all-inclusive awards program and will recognize and reward organizations of all shapes and sizes that are making strides towards a better world for people, the planet and the global economy. 

BENEVITY’S GOODIE AWARDS

Benevity’s Corporate Goodness Awards, also known as “The Goodies,” celebrate the bold, innovative, inclusive and creative ways our clients are making a difference in the world — and how they inspire other people through purpose. 

ACCP’S PURPOSE AWARDS

Every year, ACCP acknowledges and celebrates corporate citizenship professionals who serve as beacons of excellence in their field. ACCP recognizes three individuals each year with the following designations: Champion for Change, Trailblazer and Rising Star.  

REUTERS EVENTS RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS AWARDS

The Responsible Business Awards celebrate leadership in sustainable business. The Responsible Business Awards recognize those that are truly having an impact on business, society and the environment – delivering a new blueprint for business in the 21st Century. (Social Impact Category available). 

MULTIPLYING GOOD’S NATIONAL JEFFERSON AWARDS 

DEADLINE: Closed for 2023. 

For 50 years, Multiplying Good has been honoring those who put others first because they’ve seen the power and importance of recognition. Those receiving Jefferson Awards are empowered to do more, while their stories of extraordinary public service inspire others to action. 

D&AD AWARDS

The D&AD Awards gather the world’s best creative work from across the commercial design, advertising, production and craft disciplines to be judged by more than 400 global creative leaders, practitioners and innovators. Their categories span the full spectrum of disciplines, including social good with “Impact” and “Future Impact” awards. 

BCCCC’S INNOVATION AWARDS

The Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship Innovation Awards honor and celebrate the achievements of forward-thinking companies and individuals that have applied the assets of their business to create positive social and/or environmental impacts. RAGAN’S CSR & DIVERSITY AWARDS

Ragan’s CSR & Diversity Awards is dedicated to honoring communications work that is positively impacting communities, whether internally, locally or globally.
